Introducing SmartTime, a new module for SmartDock by BGI

What does SmartTime do?

SmartTime collects data from received loads and performs a linear regression calculation to accurately determine how much time is necessary to unload future receipts from that vendor. SmartTime determines the amount of time necessary by factoring the vendor; actual cases, weight, pallets, and cube; time required to unload, labor required to unload, type of pallets used, and number of SKUs on the order. New enhancements for SmartDock

Reserve and standing appointments:

The appointment time bars visually serve as placeholders on the schedule. When the actual load is created it may be placed on top of the reserved appointment time bar. This feature helps to reserve time and space for vendors or carriers that tender deliveries at the same time each day, week or month.

New Color Codes

New coloring scheme helps identify the status of a particular load at a glance. Color status schemes show when a load is not on site, on site, backed up to the dock and received. This feature provides visual updates of the load status, reducing phone calls to the receiving area for updates.
